Other info: When Anubis was sent on his errand, he found he wasn't the only one who wanted the Tear. A mysterious young man who called himself Var had gotten it first. Anubis was able to take the Tear from him, but was forced to flee when the sorcerer was able to put up a ward to keep him from teleporting. Var was much more powerful than a mortal should be, and was gaining the upper hand in battle when the Tear vanished into the unconscious Ziji. This didn't seem to bother the sorcerer at all, and he vanished with a smirk on his face. Anubis was left with a bad feeling in his gut, what did that mortal know about the Tear that he did not?
